HOW TO USE

Pour a quantity of gel over the hand or sponge and rub gently on the skin of your face. Rinse with plenty of water.

MAIN ASSETS

Disodium Cocoamphodiacetate: A very mild surfactant based on coconut, particularly indicated to avoid irritation of the skin, eyes and mucous membranes, in the formulation of children's shampoos and dermoprotective treatment.

Lactic acid: It is an alpha-hydroxyacid effective in cases of skin aging. It has been shown to improve smoothness and smoothness of the skin. It works by stimulating the renewal of cutaneous cells and increasing the elimination of dead cells on skin surface. The rejuvenating effect of lactic acid decreases with increasing pH. The studies were carried out with a 3% lactic acid and sodium lactate mixture (Dr. W. Smith; SCC Specialties Sept 93). It is used as:

  • Humectant (alone or in conjunction with sodium lactate). Its effect is comparable to that of glycerin.
  • Moisturizing. Dry and flaky skin may be the result of lesser extensibility in the stratum corneum. Because this extensibility depends on water content, moisturizers are often added to skin products, thus increasing the water content of the stratum corneum. Lactic acid (and sodium lactate) are more effective as moisturizers than sorbitol or glycerin (J.D. Middleton, J. Soc. Cosmet. Chem., 25, 517-534 1974).
  • Anti-wrinkles.Skin care cosmetics that contain the combination of lactic acid and sodium lactate (5-10% and pH = 4) are very effective in protecting the skin from wrinkles and dryness.
  • pH regulator.
  • Antibacterial.

Aloe Vera Gel: Active that provides the skin with adequate hydration, elasticity and smoothness, as well as having healing and regenerating abilities. Aloe vera is very used for the care of the skin, mainly for the emollient and softening power that it possesses. This action is mainly due to its content in mucilage polysaccharides. The mucilages have the characteristic of being hygroscopic, that is to say, they absorb and retain water, which makes them a wetting agent.
Aloe Vera works by stimulating the growth of dermal cells called fibroblasts, angiogenesis and reepithelialization, and reducing the inflammatory phase. The end result is an increase in the content of collagen and glycosaminoglycans in the new repair tissue. The content in Aloin confers anti-inflammatory effects that contribute to explain its healing action of wounds, burns and ulcers.
